Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, established on May 18, 2018, as a state university separate from Gazi University, is comprised of 9 faculties, 3 colleges, 3 vocational schools, 1 conservatory, 1 institute, and 31 research centers to conduct its educational activities. The university, where student communities play an active role, stands out with its socio-cultural life. The educational programs at our university are approved annually by the senate and are conducted based on the academic calendar.
The semester system is applied throughout all units of our university. Two semesters (fall and spring) constitute one academic year. In certain cases, summer school may be opened based on the decision of the senate. During the educational period at our university, students are required to attend theoretical courses with a minimum of 70% and practical courses with a minimum of 80% attendance. Our university not only focuses on education but also prioritizes socialization. Some of these include psycho-social services, student communities, sports services, scholarship services, library access, and part-time work opportunities.
