Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBU) was established in 2013 with the aim of being at the forefront of research in the field of social sciences in the heart of the capital city. ASBU aims not only to play an active role at the national level but also at the international level, both through its research activities and its undergraduate and graduate programs. The university consists of 7 faculties, 1 school, 3 institutes, and 391 academicians. ASBU's undergraduate and graduate programs are designed with an interdisciplinary approach to ensure that students are aware of various disciplines. Our programs allow students to take elective courses from different departments and develop themselves in their areas of interest. ASBU places great importance on multilingualism in education and offers opportunities for students to improve their language skills. English is the language of instruction in our education programs. ASBU supports students not only in learning English proficiently but also in learning a second foreign language. With small class sizes, our university provides opportunities for one-on-one communication and interaction, aiming to enhance students' skills such as public speaking, creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership within society. To enable our students to develop themselves outside of the classroom, make better use of their free time, and participate in social activities, our university offers various activities. Our students also have the opportunity to study for one or two academic semesters at European universities through exchange programs like Erasmus, making our university a preferred choice for international students.
