Istanbul Aydin University was established by the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV) in accordance with the additional article 73 of the law numbered 5656 published in the Official Gazette numbered 26526 on 18.05.2007, in order to train qualified human resources sought at national and international levels.
The university provides associate degree, undergraduate and graduate education. It has taken its current place in higher education with 14 faculties, 1 college, 2 vocational colleges and Postgraduate Education Institute programs.
In addition to the Halit Aydin Central Campus located in Florya, it operates in a modern and contemporary education-training environment in order to train the human resources required by the age with its campuses located in Buyukcekmece and Esenyurt Dentistry Hospital / Integrated Clinic and Tepekent Social Facilities.
Istanbul Aydin University provides diploma supplements to all its graduating students. Diploma Supplement (DS) is a complementary document given to students in addition to their higher education diplomas, aiming to provide academic and professional recognition on the international platform (diploma, degree, certificate, etc.). The content of the DS was developed by the European Commission and UNESCO/CEPES.
