Kütahya Dumlupınar University was established as Kütahya School of Management Sciences on October 12, 1974, under the umbrella of Eskişehir School of Management Sciences. As of July 11, 1992, it became independent from Anadolu University and changed its name and affiliation to include the newly established Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Simav Technical Education Faculty, Bilecik Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, and Institute of Natural Sciences. Kütahya Dumlupınar University currently consists of 1 institute, 11 faculties, 1 vocational school, and 14 vocational schools. The university aims to educate individuals who are research-oriented, productive, continuously develop themselves personally and professionally, contribute to the environment and society, and improve the quality of life in the region and the country by providing services and solutions.
